The TOMEI Powered camshafts profile design are especially designed for that particular engines characteristics and with constant engine bench dyno testing you know you have it right the 1st time when buying these cams.

Camshafts are usually an upgrade that is overlooked. Camshafts are a main key element to the engines performance characteristics. Camshafts may not deliver a big change in power output numbers but these parts will optimize the power band curve and change change the curve to more response down low to mid range or from mid range to top end with increased power. With turbo engines camshafts will help with the turbo spooling up earlier and or optimizing the turbos performance where needed most.

PROCAMS: These PROCAMS are designed for professional use and for real serious performance gains. Since the durations are more aggressive and the cam lifts are higher these will require the valve train to be upgraded. You will need the upgraded valve springs to accommodate the higher cam lift profiles and you may require upgrading the valve lifters (buckets) and shims. The cylinder head may also require recession to accommodate the high cam lift lobes.

An aftermarket ECU and upgraded fuel system (injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, FRP etc) are also required for these camshafts to be running efficiently.
