Camshafts are usually an upgrade that is overlooked. Camshafts are a main key element to the engines performance characteristics. Camshafts may not deliver a big change in power output numbers but these parts will optimize the power band curve and change change the curve to more response down low to mid range or from mid range to top end with increased power. With turbo engines camshafts will help with the turbo spooling up earlier and or optimizing the turbos performance where needed most.

PONCAMS: These camshafts are a direct replacement on the stock engine. These have the best optimized cam profiles to suit the stock valve train and stock ECU. When an aftermarket ECU and upgraded injectors are used in conjunction with these PONCAM camshafts you will benefit with added performance gains. Alternatively you can use on the stock factory setup as well and benefit with added gains. These will help with your turbo response as well (if running on a turbo engine). What makes the PONCAMS a bolt on application is that the valve timing has already been preset by the location on the nock pin. No dialing in required as you just need to install them as you would with the OEM camshafts.
